As you all know I  love my cruises to jamaica. I don't talk about the resorts that my country has too often. My son recently went and stayed at the Negril Treehouse Resort. He said the Treehouse is one of the secret places on the island to take unbelievable pictures. Several palm trees on the beach and an impeccable landscaped resort.

What to do:
Sun-worshipers can lounge by the private pool or walk along seven miles of pristine Jamaican beach, while those looking for some action should use their $20 credit for jet- and water-skiing, (or parasailing for a bird’s eye view of paradise). Luxury lovers should make use of the $20 massage credit included with this Offer with an hour of relaxation from the resort’s own massage therapist.

What’s nearby:
For hungry guests who prefer to stay on-campus, Negril’s Treehouse Restaurant offers an exotic array of spicy local specialties. Feeling adventurous? The resort is more than happy to help you arrange tours of the swamps and rivers of Black River Safari, or the tiered, cascading waterfalls of Dunn’s River and YS Falls. Kool Runnings Adventure Park, a mere two miles away, offers fun for all ages with rafting, laser tag, water slides and kayaking.

KINGSTON, Jamaica, Thursday August 18, 2011 – Carnival Cruise Lines has reached an agreement with the Government of Jamaica, which will guarantee cruise ship ports in Montego Bay and Ocho Rios at least 1.2 million visitors over three years.

The agreement will ensure that both ports maintain current levels of cruise arrivals, despite the competition from the new Falmouth Cruise Ship Pier. Carnival has also agreed that if it fails to deliver the agreed number of visitors, it will pay the difference between the actual numbers and the guaranteed figure.
